Emily and Andrew-July 6
Corporate, “foodie” couple seeks an intimate, sophisticated, urban setting for their wedding and reception. Downtown Minneapolis, and its urban renewal is just the place!
The Groom’s parents and his family flew in from England and the Bride’s parents drove in from Wayzata, each group enjoying each other and the beautiful summer weather.
Church of the Annunciation in South Minneapolis provided the traditional, Catholic setting for the bride and groom to take their vows in front of an international guest list. Simple, vibrant flowers and beautiful music filled the air for this joyful occasion. Immediately following the ceremony, the guests headed towards the chic, urban playground of the Chambers Hotel.
Guests entered the rooftop lounge and were greeted with bright vibrant reds and oranges in both the linens from Linen Effects and the floral from Bastian-Skoog, along with a custom made logo above the floating wedding cake! The rooftop deck was the perfect setting for cocktails and evening views of the city. Being a couple that loves good food and great wine; they treated their guests to a 6 course tasting menu designed by Jean-Georges. Everyone was delighted by the menu; the meal concluded with some red velvet wedding cake from Jessica’s Cakes in St. Paul. DJ Jake Rhud spun the tunes and guests danced the night away.
A sophisticated setting for an international crowd – a great time was had by all!
