Nicolle Sellers - Principal/Lead Consultant

As one of Mother of the Bride's Principals and Lead Consultants, Nicolle brings more than nine years of experience in wedding and event planning to our team. She possesses excellent organizational, management, and communication skills. Ms. Sellers came to Mother of the Bride in 1996, with more than ten years of general and project management experience in the corporate arena. Nicolle's desire and ability to manage projects for Fortune 500 companies transferred successfully into the wedding and events world. She has mastered the formula for bringing her client's dreams to life.

Nicolle has planned and executed weddings of all sizes and budgets. She particularly loves the logistical challenges that many large weddings bring to the table. Destination weddings both in the United States and abroad have been amongst her favorites. All weddings excite and creatively motivate her not only to plan but also to help design the celebration.

Ms. Sellers is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Journalism. She earned her Certification of National Project Management and Business Management from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Nicolle says:
"Every day that I go to work is the best day of someone's life, how could I not love this job? I get to be a part of this joy. Being such an intimate part of the families plan is a privilege that I take very seriously. I take their hopes and dreams for this day and make them a reality. Though most feel stressed with this task, I feel energized. I love to see the flawless execution of a great plan. The smiles, tears of joy, and hugs from my clients over the years have become very dear to me.

My motto for any great wedding is 'Expect the Unexpected'. With this in mind I am ready for any challenge and I handle it with calming grace. I surround myself with amazing vendors and challenge them to blow my expectations out of the water. With a wedding you only get one shot so it better be the very best!

The best part of the wedding is when a joyous couple walks out of the ceremony married, elated, on a huge emotional high, and ready for the party of a lifetime to celebrate their union with family and friends from near and far."
