Martie McGlasson - Principal/Administrative/Retail
Ms. McGlasson's background includes several years of involvement in various community organizations. These organizations include; Chi Omega Sorority, the Minneapolis Junior League, President of the Chamber of Commerce in the city of Excelsior, Volunteer for the Minnesota Transportation Museum and several smaller organizations. Martie has planned hundreds of events throughout her career. Her ability to foster and manage relationships and multi-task makes her event management superb. Her passion and expertise for event planning and her foresight led her to open her own business in the area of Wedding and Event Planning services. Accompanied by her daughter Laura, she launched Mother of the Bride in 1995. She oversees all aspects of the business as well as soley manages the retail business of Mother of the Bride.
Martie is a graduate from the University of Nebraska, where she earned her degree in Merchandising, and Home Economics. She is the mother of three and has six beautiful grandchildren. Her hobbies and travels, along with Mother of the Bride keep her very busy.
