Leslie Turner
Leslie Turner comes to Mother of the Bride with extensive event and project management experience. She began her career in consulting as a project manager for both private and public sector clients. It is there that Leslie fine-tuned her organizational, multi-tasking and facilitation skills and learned the critical importance of listening to a client's needs. Leslie has also coordinated numerous international corporate events and educational trips and served on the primary project team to plan and implement a 50,000 attendee national convention. Leslie has applied her skills to her work in marketing, planning and buying for a Twin Cities based Fortune 500 company.
Leslie has a passion for helping brides create a wedding experience that reflects the unique style of the couple. She helps brides combine the latest trends with long-standing traditions to develop a celebration that is both original and meaningful.
Leslie says, "My focus is on enabling the bride and those closest to her to feel calm, at-ease and able to enjoy their unforgettable day. I take this part of my job very seriously and believe thorough preparation, the ability to create solutions and a warm smile help me to consistently provide this service to our brides."
A graduate of Kansas State University, Leslie holds her Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics, with an emphasis in International Development. Leslie was a Truman Scholar and motivational public speaker, addressing crowds of 20,000+. Married, she enjoys decorating her family's home, running, shopping, and a good cup of coffee with friends or family.
